Effective for all bookings made with Descubre Viajeras®, operated by Impacta Events & Travel S.A. — RUC 20509471496)

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all travel services contracted through Descubre Viajeras® / Impacta Events & Travel S.A., including airline tickets, hotel reservations, circuits, experiences, pre/post tours, and group programs. By submitting a booking request or completing any payment, the traveler accepts the terms outlined below.

1. General Booking Conditions

All reservations must be requested through our official channels, online forms, email, or payment links.
A booking is considered confirmed only after payment of the required deposit and written confirmation from Descubre Viajeras.
Quotations do not guarantee availability until payment is received.
Prices are based on the travel dates and may vary due to changes in service costs, taxes, or supplier availability.
The traveler is responsible for reviewing and accepting these Terms & Conditions before confirming any booking.

2. Payment Terms

Bookings require a deposit as specified in the quotation or program.
Final payment is due on the date communicated in your confirmation.
Failure to pay by the deadline will result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.
Payments may be made via bank transfer or through secure online payment links provided by Descubre Viajeras.

3. Traveler Documentation Requirements

Travelers must provide full legal names, nationality, and passport or ID details exactly as shown on their travel documents.
For international travel, passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel dates and contain at least 6 blank pages.
Hotels may require identification for all guests, including minors.
Minors may only check in when accompanied by a parent/guardian, or with notarized authorization.

4. Health, Safety & Travel Conditions

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all health requirements for travel (vaccinations, medical certificates, COVID-related rules, etc.).
Weather conditions, strikes, political situations, or health restrictions may require adjustments to itineraries.
When such events occur, Descubre Viajeras will offer alternatives based on availability (date changes, refunds, or service substitutions).

5. Liability & Force Majeure

Descubre Viajeras is not liable for events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters (earthquakes, storms, floods, tsunamis)
Acts of war, civil unrest, terrorism, or government regulations
Strikes, labor disputes, airline disruptions
Health emergencies, epidemics, pandemics
Any event considered force majeure

In such cases, services may be adjusted, rescheduled, or replaced according to supplier policies.

6. Travel Insurance

Descubre Viajeras strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, which may cover:

Medical emergencies
Trip interruption or cancellation
Lost or delayed baggage
Accidents and unexpected events

7. Airline Ticket Conditions

Fares are only guaranteed once the airline ticket is issued.
Airlines may modify fares at any moment due to dynamic pricing.
If a ticket is not issued on the agreed date, availability and price may change.
Tickets may be voided only on the day of issuance until 6:00 p.m.
- Domestic void fee: USD 20.00 + 18% VAT
- International void fee: USD 30.00 + 18% VAT

Refunds, Modifications & Penalties

Most tickets are non-refundable and non-endorsable.
Modifications incur penalties defined by each airline and fare class.
Full passenger details must match the passport exactly; once issued, name corrections are not permitted.
For corporate travelers, RUC numbers must be provided before ticket issuance.

8. Hotel Booking Conditions

Once confirmed, the hotel reservation will include a payment deadline.
Failure to meet the deadline will result in automatic cancellation.
Changes to reconfirmed bookings may incur a 100% penalty, as determined by the hotel.
Cancellations & No-Shows:
Written requests must be sent to hola@descubreviajeras.com.
If a reconfirmed reservation is cancelled, a 100% penalty will apply.

9. Tours, Circuits, Experiments & Pre/Post Packages

Tours and circuit prices are calculated based on travel dates and may vary due to taxes, supplier adjustments, or operational requirements.
The traveler must review and understand the program terms before confirming.
Itineraries may be modified to ensure the safe and optimal operation of the program.
Optional tours or flights purchased through third parties are the traveler’s responsibility.

10. Modification Policy (Travel Packages)

Changes made more than 30 days before departure:

Modification requests accepted (dates, hotels, activities) with no change fee.
Subject to supplier availability and price differences.
Refunds available except for non-refundable deposits.

Changes made 30 to 15 days before departure:

Modification fee: USD 50 per change
Partial refunds may apply based on provider rules.

Changes made within 15 days before departure or No-Show:

Modification fee: USD 100 per change
No refunds apply.
No-shows incur 100% penalty.

11. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Travel Packages)

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Between 30 and 15 days	50% of total package value
15 days or less / No-show	100% of total package value

12. Refund Policy (General)

No refunds are issued for No-Shows or missed departures.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for purchase.
Refunds related to weather, strikes, or certified health conditions will depend on supplier rules and may include rebooking, credits, or refunds.
Refunds outside the stated conditions will not be granted.

13. Responsibilities of Descubre Viajeras

Descubre Viajeras acts as an intermediary between the traveler and service providers (airlines, hotels, operators, transportation companies). Therefore:

We are responsible for arranging services but not for the performance of third-party providers.
Any claims related to service quality will be addressed in coordination with the provider.
Travelers must comply with all provider rules, safety instructions, and local regulations.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting any form, completing a payment, or confirming a reservation, the traveler declares:

They have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
They agree to the processing of personal data according to the Privacy Policy.
They consent to receiving SMS and phone call notifications related to their travel booking.
